For ten years he served as Vice President of City Gospel Mission, ministering to formerly incarcerated, addicted, disenfranchised, transient and homeless men. Not only is he the Co-Pastor of The Warehouse Church with his wife, Sadell, but they are the owners of GoodFit, a training company on implicit bias, and Consider The Poor, an Advocacy, Consulting and Training (ACTS) company that educates the public in understanding the conditions of poverty in America.
Sherman is a Toastmaster, a graduate of Leadership Cincinnati through the Cincinnati USA Chamber of Commerce, and a former Rotarian. He one of 22 National Trainers of the Bridges Out of Poverty Curriculum via Aha Process! Inc. by Dr. Ruby Payne that presents strategies and solutions toward the eradication of poverty. He desires to provide hurting men and women a holistic approach to healing and restoration through Jesus Christ.
Sherman is the proud father of two daughters and one son: Whitney, Shaniqua, and Robert and three grandsons Jaxon Kyle, Robert and Rylan.
